Lunch at the Veggie Garden..

My daughter & I had lunch at the Veggie Garden today..
It's the only healthy place in my town..
The back garden where you can go and eat, is sooo beautiful.
It's surrounded by brick walls & ivy and plants everywhere, the sound of waterfalls..
Sooo realxing & fun to eat there!!
Foods great too!!

Quick Healthy Snack

This a great simple healthy snack!!
If I had organic peanut butter I would have used it, but I didn't but natural is good!
What you will need..
1~100% Whole Wheat English Muffin
1/2 a banana split in 1/2.
1 tbsp natural or organic peanut butter
1 tbsp raisin.
Toast your English muffin, spread peanut butter on each side, add 1/4 banana to each side, and add raisins. They kinda like little mini pizzas.. Kids would love this healthy treat!!
I actually eat this for breakfast. :)

FINALLY got a little creative today!!

So I've been on & off sick for a while.. So tired of not feeling well.. Haven't touch or created ANYTHING in way to long.. But, today I got in and finally started creating.. Hopefully I will continue to be productive, and start feeling better & better.. :)

Heart Healthy ~ Tomato Basil Garlic Chicken Pita

First you boil the chicken breast tenderloins until fully cooked.
Put in a sauce pan with some spray or extra virgin olive oil.
Sprinkle Mrs Dash Seasoning and brown.
Add your chicken & anything else you want to the pita..
I added avacado, onions, and spinach.
Healthy, light.. Yumm!! :)

SIMPLE heart healthy chicken stir fry fajitas

First you boil your chicken.. this can be a small single portion or you can make it s a large dinner, so cook up as much skinless chicken breast as you would like.
Then add your vegis with non stick spray in another pan, and this is the same, use as many vegis as you would like. I added tomatos, bell peppers, onions, and squash. Saute them til they are browned.
Add the boiled chicken and stir fry all together and add Mrs Dash seasoning. I used Fiesta Lime, but they have TONS of great salt-free seasonings!!!
Cook it all together and you can eat it as a stir fry or get a 100% whole wheat tortilla and wrap it up.
YUMM!! And it makes your heart happy..<3

Mocha Candle Tutorial

Let's make this cute mocha candle!!

The supplies (I purchased it all at the $ store.
First you melt candles in one pot.

Make sure you only put it on medium heat and let it slowly melt.

Once it's all melted carefully remove the wicks.

In the other pot you are gonna melt the same candles but add cinnamon.

keep stirring the cinnamon

Remove the wicks.

Remove from heat.

You will have two pots with one cinnamon mixture and one clear.

Pour the cinnamon mixture into the glass mug. Let sit.

When your clear starts to harden. Keep stirring it.

After letting your mocha sit and harden in your mug you will add topping.

Your topping will be like this.

Place it onto the cinnamon mix in the glass mug.

Make a spot for your tea light.

Place your tea light and sprinkle with cinnamon & you have yourself a Mocha candle.
Change out the tea light and you can continue to use this candle over & over.. :)
Please don't let children make this candle alone.
